Checking if we can remove chimney for more space in the kitchen. Water tank vent liner can be seen at far left - the only use for the chimney.
White Shaker cabinets and "granite look" laminate countertop. Ordered "bullnose" front edge for $200 extra. The countertop was "discontinued" and we found out after buying the floor & splash tiles to match it.

Kitchen: NW corner, where stove will be, note framed in chimney, and door to patio/garden at right - turning a liability into an asset. Stack will now run up to the 2nd floor through the dead space at right of chimney.

Bathroom: W wall looking NW corner. Note chimney: it is a standalone unit so could not be knocked flush with wall. Used only for venting hot water heater. Cabinets will have to be cut around it.

Attic: broken ridgeline, patched with piece of lumber (centre), electrical wires (100 and knob&tube), turbine at left, power vent fan at right (not working, told not necessary so will remove wiring). Note boards are glued and screwed.
Attic: extra power vent inserted into hole in roof (doesn't work). Will not rewire (Let it Rain said it was unnecessary fan, given turbine.)
Master bedroom: SE corner, removed pasteboard to access wiring, discovered chipped away plaster on lath.

Rotting roof joists reinforced with 2x8s (over new bathtub) causes loss of some headroom. Note mold from lack of attic ventilation. Holes will be drilled at base of joists and baffles installed to channel air.
Bathroom: standing in doorway, looking N. Knee wall for pipes, control, spout (RightHand tub). Toilet (12" roughin) at left. New register in floor S of knee wall. Short "head" wall above tub to hold showerhead (out of frame). Gap between knee and head wall has tempered glass.
Bathroom: facing S, door to left (out of frame). Location of 30" vanity flush to wall at right. One light above mirror/medicine cabinet. GFI on W wall 3" above vanity (room for backsplash). Wood is plaster lath.
2nd bedroom: looking W, doorway starts at far left and goes out of frame. Note insulation installed sooner due to fixture placement. Red line is water line for showerhead.
Kitchen: final location of stove. Over-the-range microwave will be above. Note aluminum vent in upper right corner to vent cooking heat/smells.

Kitchen: final location of fridge. It *just* fits between wall and left edge of window. Door of fridge will have to be rehung to swing out left.
